Wisdom Tip #1

Wisdom Tip #1- Be guided

How would you feel if you could figure out your whole life? What would your life be like, if you knew where to go, the choices to make, offers to accept or not? What would life be like if you always knew what to do?

be guided

As a child, one of my desires was to know the right answer to each question in my tests. I felt it’d be awesome to just hear God tell me the answers during an exam. I wished I’d just know what to do every time so I never make a mistake in life. Good thoughts right?

But hey, if you want to excel in your exam, then do well to study before the exam 🙂

Back to the matter, can you know what to do per time? I believe so, because the word of God is available for guidance.

‘Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path’ Psalm 119:105

Studying your bible will help condition you to see and appreciate God’s thoughts, desires, plans and your role in them.

For us Christians, it’s important to know that we don’t have a life outside Christ. Your purpose as a Christian is to live for Christ.

Moreover, you can also be guided as you seek guidance from the ALL-KNOWING God.

‘Trust the LORD completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way’ Proverbs 3:5-6

Therefore, to live a life of purpose this year; one that’s pleasing to God,

1. Study the word of God and abide by it

2. Seek for and follow the leading and promptings of the Holy Spirit in EVERY situation.

Make it a habit to communicate with God in prayer. When you pray over specific issues,  pray with your whole being, persevere in prayer.

‘My son, pay attention to what I say. Listen closely to my words. Don’t let them out of your sight. Never stop thinking about them. These words are the secret of life and health to all who discover them’ Proverbs 4:20-22

Every decision you make this year, do with Christ at the center. This way you can never make the wrong decision.

Here’s wishing you a great year in Christ alone.
