Dear 90’s Baby – #1

Dear 90’s Baby,

They said we will not go far and I agree. No, we will go far, but not all of us. Who are those that will go far?

The Fat ones: Have you ever heard the saying ‘You are what you eat’? It is very true.  If you don’t understand, try eating garlic everyday for a week.. The way your body reflects what you eat is the same way your minds reflects what it eats. Feed your mind fat and watch your self make a difference. You may not become famous, but you will have something to give, you will not make stupid mistakes, you will know more and when you know more, you will do more (Hopefully😕) How do you feed your mind fat? Go to new places in your dreams or in real life, read deep and wide, mingle with the wise (listen to them, read their books, talk with them)

The Lean ones: Everything is lean these days;  lean diets, lean startups, lean meat😩, lean.. ‘Lean’ suggests discipline; a conscious decision to cut excesses and eliminate wastage. Any seasoned nomad knows that to travel far, you should travel light. You need to look at your life squarely and ask yourself what needs to be trimmed off, removed or re-sized.
Even God applies this principle in dealing with us and I don’t mean to be preachy, but this is my letter and I can preach! 😎. When I read “John 15:1-2” it’s like God saying to me “you are doing great things and getting results, so I’ll just chop this overspending off and chop that parapò habit off, so you can blossom.” You see, pruning is not just about ‘bad things’,  some things are not bad but they are not necessarily good for you either.

The Doers: These ones are special; they have energy, intellectual energy. They lose sleep one night and by the time we wake up, they have interrupted our lives with something new that they brought from dreams to reality. They create, they give life to their possibilities, these ones do not just sit around talking about what life could be or what they will like to do. They get up and do it. When they don’t have a platform, they create one. They believe in implementation; anyhow, whatever. They just do it. They are afraid, they are unsure, sometimes inexperienced, but they do it anyway.

These are the future; the giants the world is waiting for. They are intentionally learning, growing, and making a difference. Are you one of them? or rather, “Are you one of us?” 😎

oh yeah, they are. everyone that has done great things has been afraid at some time. the sooner we start putting our ideas to work, the better. even when we make mistakes, it is our opportunity to learn. “courage is not the absence of fear, but acting in spite of fear”
thank you cynthia, just go ahead and #doitafraid
